Just a little crazy!

So... do you see anything wrong with this picture?

Yeah... I kind of wore 2 different shoes to work yesterday and didn't notice until I went to put them on again to go to Walmart last night. I am just going a little crazy! :)

Fun Weekends

We have had a few crazy weekends. I didn't take pictures of the first one which is sad because Jon's sister lives with his parents and the kids played so well together. Plus we have a new nephew who is soooo adorable.
Last weekend we spent Saturday in Vegas with Ramsey and Shaunie shopping and walking around. I took the camera, but only took one picture with my phone. I need to get better with pictures.

We had so much fun. Bass Pro Shops, Factory Outlets, Planet Hollywood, H&M, and PF Changs. Seriously what could be better. A day with people we love without the kidlets. :)

Look at this gummy bear!
We picked it up at the Sugar Factory in Vegas. JT loves it!

We were supposed to head up north on Sunday for the Jazz vs celtics game, but the weather was bad so we waited until Monday morning. It turned out to be a long day. We left at about 10 and got home at 3 AM!!! We had so much fun. JT had a blast, but we won't be taking him to another game for a few years. That is just too much time for a little one to stay still.

This kid just melts my heart!

Such a cheeser!
Daddy only got 1/2 of the statue!
Momma cut off Stockton's head. :)

JT's favorite part of the game... the blimp.

My amazing boys.
We took pictures with Jon's phone... I really should have just brought the camera so I could zoom. :(
Raja Bell!!!

So ready for this weekend!!!!!

I am so excited for the next 3 days. It almost feels like a little vacation. We are going to have a BLAST!!! :) First tomorrow we are leaving early and going here...

Today is my sister-in-law Shaunie's birthday. To celebrate, we are leaving the kids with Nana and Papa and hitting Sin City! :) H&M, Ceasar's Palace, Bass Pro Shop, Game Works, and lots of yummy food. We are just going for the day, but after church on Sunday Jon, JT, and I are heading up to SLC for this...

Jazz vs. Celtics!!! Jon loves the Celtics so for Christmas I bought him 2 tickets in the 8th row. We are so excited to see the amazing players on the Celtics, but also to see the new Jazz! It will be the first time the 2 new players will be playing at home, so it should be so much fun. I am so ready to put all the stress behind me and have an amazing weekend.

The song that will help all!!!

So this song is my favorite. Through all the infertility, adoption, and just normal trials I have had in my life I could always turn this song on and feel instantly better. Hopefully it will help at least one person who may be struggling. I really just felt the need to share it. :)

Guess where I am going on Monday! Jazz vs. Celtics!!!!! 8th row baby. I am excited to see all the awesome players that play for the Celtics. Now that D-Will is gone I just hope that the Jazz can pull it together. I will always be a jazz fan, but Monday I will definitely be cheering for the other team! :)

Oh... and SPREAD THE WORD about us adopting!!! :)

Networking

This adoption process is CRAZY!!! When we were going through the process with JT it all went so fast. This time is different. We are using LDSFS and there are soooo many families, the wait is going to be longer. So this is where my craziness comes in. Some of you have probably seen me sharing our adoption blog on facebook. I figure that the more people that know we are wanting to adopt... the quicker we will be able to add another miracle. So here is where all of my friends and family and whoever reads this blog comes in. I challenge you to add our button to your blog. Share our adoption blog on facebook. Keep us in mind if you hear about anyone that is expecting. For those of you who blog and have tons of followers... post about our adoption journey :) Click on the link on the right to find our adoption blog. Now that I am doing 100% better in the patience and faith department... it is time to get NETWORKING!!!

Peace

I sit here at work. It is payday. I have filing to do and stacks of paperwork to go through, but I am here. The past week I have reflected on my life. Counted my blessings. Enjoyed the miracle that JT is. I have reached out to birth mothers who are making the most difficult decision of their lives. Been support to other parents hoping to adopt. I have tried to not focus on the negative in my life. Yeah I am not perfect and Jon can attest that I still have my rough days. I have truly made a conscious effort to remain positive. I have placed my life in the Lord's hands to do what he will with it. I have prayed for our birth mother and child wherever they are to be comforted and blessed. I have searched for the peace that I need to make it through this roller coaster journey. TODAY I received that peace. It wasn't in the comfort of my bedroom or sitting at church. I am in an office with the bathroom fan running in the background. I am surrounded by the reminder that I really should get to work.

I found a website that had 3 quotes that were just what I needed to hear.

At the end of the day, it's up to us to choose whether to focus on what tears us apart or holds us together

Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past ~ stop planning the future ~ stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel ~ stop deciding with our mind what we want our heart to feel ~ Sometimes we just have to go with "Whatever happens- happens"

Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.

After I read these quotes I was filled with the most warm comforting peaceful feeling. I KNOW that the Lord has my best interests at heart. He wouldn't put me through something if it wasn't for my good. My job is to learn from it and use it to help others.

I am so grateful for JT's birth mother. It is truly a miracle that he found us despite her best efforts to sabotage it. Miracle #1- She went in to have an abortion only to find out she was a few days too late. Miracle #2- She only wanted a African American couple for her baby. Obviously we are white. I am so thankful that the Lord protected JT. I can't imagine our life without him. I still will have my rough days I am sure, but I have been searching and praying for Peace and now that I have it I will NEVER let it go

In the Lord's Time!

Do you ever just want something "Right Now!!!" Yeah, me too. So that has been the thing that I have been working on. Not focusing on my time, but the Lord's time. It is by far not the easiest thing I have done. I think sometimes when we work on a weakness Heavenly Father sends a few more extra trials just to make sure we "get" it. I finally get it I hope... I am still struggling, but things are getting easier. I am finding a peace where turmoil used to be. To me that is success!
