When mom is sick... who cares!

So I have come to realize that it is very much true that if mom is sick... no one cares. I have always heard that, but never thought it to be true. I stayed home from work for 2 days with this stinkin bronchitis garbage... which I am actually feeling a little bit better now. At least the fever is gone. Come to find out that Jon has the same thing. So instead of me resting last night when he got home from work... I was mom, wife, & doctor. He has had a fever all morning and it just won't break... and you know what they say about sick men. (It is true... they are babies) lol- It doesn't help that my sweet precious JT has decided that he only wants MOM the past few days and will not just sit and play AT ALL!!!!! Please pray for us because I can't keep up with this much longer. We need the "get better train" to come to our house and fast.

A day at the doctor.

JT had his 9 month well child check today. He weighed in at 17 lbs 13 oz. and is 17 1/4'' tall. So the doctor comes in and gets a worried look on his face and said, "Are these measurements from the last appt?" I told him no they were from today and he than asked if JT's birthmother was a small person. I remember her 18 month old at the hospital the day we took JT home. He was pretty little so I just figured JT would probably on the smaller side. Anyway... ready for the percentages? (drumroll) 8% in weight and 13% in heighth. If he continues this way we will probably have a guard and not a center on the basketball court. :) lol - They are making an appointment with a surgeon to have his umbilical hernia looked at. I don't know if they will do surgery right away or wait until he is older, but one thing is for sure... it is not getting any smaller. It grows with him. In other news I haven't been feeling very good the last few days... cough, fever, all that jazz. I asked the Dr. to look at me while we were there and I have bronchitis!!! Where does that come from? I am on an antibiotic now so I hope I will start feeling better soon. So that is enough for today I will still work on getting Easter pics on, but I am drained and am going to bed. NIGHT :)

*** A fractured wrist and bruised knee. Poor guy doesn't even remember what happened. All I know is that his knee knocked the couch away from the wall and he was on the ground when I finally got to him. Anyway, Easter pictures are coming soon. I have just felt lazy lately. :)

Book Worm...

JT loves books. It isn't too often that he will sit with me and just read (only because he won't sit still very often), but he will look at them by himself. Last night I gave him this cute book about Harvey the bee (Seagull Book find) and he was making all sorts of sounds like he was reading the book to me. He is such a character!!! He just gets more fun each and every day. Oh and by the way... new cold started today. We just can't kick this stupid bug. I am so fed up with snot! :(

Wahoo!!!!!

First of all... Amanda got kicked off on American Idol. That makes me very very happy... and my wonderful husband got the water heater fixed. The hot water is back on in our house. This calls for a celebration. Time for a hot bath! :)

So I am sure you are all sick of me blogging, but I had a breakthrough tonight. :) After working all day on getting my photoshop to work correctly... I finally completed one page. It isn't fancy, but I absolutely LOVE it! I think I am going to have a blast with this. Now I just need to start downloading paper. So if any of you have great websites  I would love to have them. I can totally see how this could get addicting. (Now to convince Jon that I should stay home and not work anymore)  ;) hehehe
