I am proud to say that dinners are now a success. We have had sweet potatoes and green beans so far and he loves them. The only problem is he likes to talk during bites. Notice the picture.

The credit union had Santa come by today and it was the perfect chance to get a picture and not have to go to the crazy mall. Notice santa is holding down JT's hand in the pictures? Well... JT has a strong grip and he kind of got ahold of Santa's real beard. :) I guess at least he didn't cry! I am sure next year will be a different story.

Look what is under our tree!!!

This year Jon decided that it was his turn to decorate the tree. He said I am too fancy when I decorate. More power to him. I made him set up the tree all by himself. He tried to get me to let him use tinsel stuff... You know the stringy stuff that gets all over. I settled for garland. It is simple and when it is dark in the room and the lights are on.. just beautiful. And the present under the tree is the best present you could receive.
JT is getting more and more adventurous. He is getting up on his hands and knees and I know it is only a matter of time before he starts going everywhere. I put him under the tree to get a picture and he knocked the manger over. His face says it all.. wasn't quite sure if he was in trouble :) My precious little angel! He is starting to give kisses. It is the cutest thing. He is probably tired of it by now. I try to get in at least 20 a day! :) lol
The greatest gift of all. Becoming a mother.
Look at those beautiful brown eyes.

The many sleeping positions of JT

JT can pretty much fall asleep anywhere and in any position, but the best was when he jumped himself to sleep. He has finally mastered his jumper. He starts jumping even before you put him in. On Sunday he pooped himself out. Kids are so much fun!!!

Just another crazy mom taking pictures!

He is so stinkin cute even with snot bubbles! I have to say that JT is the best baby when he isn't feeling well. He had an ear infection and if I didn't have the mother's intuition to take him in... I never would have known. Two more days of antibiotics!!!! I can't wait until we are done. I am so sick of changing horrible diapers! All you mothers out there know exactly what I am talking about. :)
On another note he is growing up way too fast. Only 5 months old and he sits up so well by himself. Somedays I wish I could go back a few months, but I also can't wait until he is finally ours. 3 more weeks hopefully!!! Jon is trying to get him crawling and I am fighting to keep him still :)

The 1st cold! :(

Here is how our morning began. A little cuddle time with daddy. But JT wasn't himself and I noticed the start of a runny nose when he woke up. As the day progressed it turned into Niagra Falls and a horrible cough. (Well just trying to get all the snot out of his throat) He has been so quiet all day and it rips my heart out to see him not feeling well. He has been such a trooper through it all though. He is still smiling and laughing and being happy. Hopefully this will the first of not many colds this winter.

Jon still hasn't figured out the new camera, but he will learn. This is his attempt at getting a picture of JT after a sneeze. See the big glob of stuff on his chin? This is what we have been dealing with all day! Isn't it great being a mommy! :)

Beautiful Pictures!

So Christmas came early for me this year. I got tired of my old Kodak camera and asked Santa for a new camera. It is sweet!!! 10 MP-- video with sound-- a million different settings that I know nothing about. I know I am getting all excited over something stupid, but just look at that picture. I went outside to look at the flowers I just planted and noticed this little green worm in the flower. Totally picture worthy. I can't believe how vibrant it looks. Totally worth the purchase... and there is nothing more fun than opening up an empty box on Christmas morning!

Rub-a-dub-dub

JT loves his baths. From the day he was born he has not been afraid of the water. Jon and I usually don't buy into the new gimmicks on the market, but JT outgrew his bear sponge... plus he didn't want to lay down anymore. So we purchased this cool seat. He sat in it for 30 minutes tonight just playing with his toys. He is still a little small for it, but he makes it work.

Not Martha!

So I am far from becoming Martha Stewart, but I enjoy making my home look nice. For family night this week we decided to plant some new flowers in our front yard. We had a lot of fun picking them out and even more fun planting them. Here are my works of art and also a tender moment of Daddy with JT.

Long day at work!

I am very blessed to be able to take JT with me to work. I work with awesome people and a lot of guys I went to high school with. A little high school reunion. Anyway... here are a few pics of today. JT is a sport. He is so patient and trys to make the most of each day. It is getting a little harder to keep him occupied as he gets older, but with the help I have there it is fun.

He had all the fun he could handle!

The Second Attempt

So If I knew how fun it would be to start rice cereal... I would have started months ago. :) After the first attempt went so well (note the sarcasm) I decided to hold off for another few weeks. We had the second attempt tonight and as you can see... it was not very successful. But we had fun anyway. The pictures explain it all.

What is this stuff???
I will just do it myself!
Still happy even after forcing him to eat!

In the end... there was more cereal on him than made it in his mouth. Oh well... there is always the next time. :) If anyone has suggestions... I am listening!

Jumpy Jump!

Here is our sweet little JT! He loves his bouncer and actually held still for a minute for me to take this picture.

Trying to figure this out!

So be patient with me. I am still trying to figure this out. It is all mumbo jumbo to me at the moment. I will get a hold of my little sister sometime and get it up and running. :) Stay tuned for an awesome page. LOL
