The next Bach!!!

I told Jon from the first time I saw JT's long fingers that he was going to play the piano. Of course he says they will come in pretty handy to play basketball. :) He can do both right? While at my in-laws... Jon's mom has a electric keyboard. JT proved my point that he is destined to be a concert pianist. It was the most fun I have seen him have in a long time. I especially love the picture of him with the intense look on his face. Like he is really getting into it. I sure do love this kid :)

collage1 Sorry for the duplicates. I couldn't figure out how to just do 5 pictures. It would only do 9.

Firsts!

I love the first time JT does anything. It is such a major milestone in his life. First time climbing the stairs- First time getting a book for himself and looking at it. And first time in the snow. We went to my in-laws last weekend and they still had some snow in the front yard. JT had so much fun, but didn't really dig the taste of it. If you can tell by his face in the last picture.

JT... the Supermodel :)

Just a small picture of the cutest baby I know :)

Helping Gamma!

100_1015 A few days ago we went to visit my mom and she was picking up pecans. I have to tell you that I hated doing that as a kid. I swear it took all day and by the end your fingers hurt from taking them out of the hull. Maybe I am a little more grown up or I just have a better attitude, but I had a lot of fun doing it this time. The weather is finally getting warmer and JT enjoyed crawling around, eating sticks & leaves, and cleaning off the pecans with his mouth. He also helped my mom weed her flower pots. He is growing up so fast and I am sure he will be walking sooner than we are expecting.

Mama!

JT 071

He finally said it and I am so proud. Now it has been 3 nonstop days of Mama!!! The only problem is he usually just says it when he wants something - so it sounds pretty whiny! :)

In other news...

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

From out of nowhere!

This has been a crazy week. I got a call after church on Sunday from a friend in Salt Lake that had a birthmother due in July with a little african american girl and she was going to be showing her some profiles and wondered if we wanted ours to be shown. First of all, adopting again so soon has not crossed my mind and it really threw me for a spin. After talking with Jon and praying about it we felt that we should have the profile shown. We felt that if the girl picked us the baby was meant to be ours... if not, she wasn't. I found out a few days ago that she is going with a different family, which is OK with me. It has got me thinking of my next baby and different options to consider. So you can call us crazy (only if it goes fast) or not so crazy, but we are starting the adoption process with the church. JT is only 8 months old, but I have felt pretty strongly (subconsciously) that we were supposed to get going with the church. Heavenly Father finally opened my eyes this week. He has been whispering this past month what we needed to do, but I guess my ears weren't working. :) We will keep you updated on everything!!!
